History of Loxahatchee

Loxahatchee got its name from the Loxahatchee River. In 2006, part of Loxahatchee was incorporated as the Town of Loxahatchee Groves and became the 38th municipality of Palm Beach County. Loxahatchee is one of the most rural areas near West Palm Beach.
